Animation - Rotation of the Gut

The gut, as viewed anteriorly, undergoes a 270 degree counter-clockwise rotation. At the same time, the dorsal mesentery of the stomach, or the dorsal mesogastrium, elongates considerably, forming the greater omentum and its omental apron.
