Originates in the S2-S4 region of the spinal cord as sacral splanchnic nerves. These fibers pass through the inferior hypogastric plexus and then onto the uterovaginal plexus to ultimately terminate within the uterus.
Originates in the sympathetic trunk, passes to the inferior hypogastric plexus and terminates within the uterus.
Originates in the S1-S3 region of the spinal cord as pelvic splanchnic nerves. These fibers pass through the superior and inferior hypogastric plexuses to reach the uterovaginal plexus.
Originates in the S2-S4 region of the spinal cord as pelvic splanchnic nerves. These fibers pass to the inferior hypogastric plexus and then onto the uterovaginal plexus which ultimately sends fibers into the uterus.
